Magical Worlds. Afterschool Art (Gr K-2)

Magical Worlds

 For Grades K-2

10 weekly sessions | Tuesday afternoons 3:30 pm- 4:15pm

Dates:  September 13th to November 15th 2022

We’ll dive deep into our imaginations to create our own make-believe worlds. Using materials like clay, cardboard, wire, paper, and textiles, we will build 2 and 3-dimensional structures and settings.

Students will start by crafting an original story or fairytale for their world. We will then transform the materials to bring our stories to life! This could be a futuristic sci-fi world of robots or a fairy garden… the sky is the limit!

Each class will begin with new skill building and exploration, based on age and interest. We will continue to develop these skills throughout the course and explore new ideas and techniques to incorporate into our magical, make-believe worlds. Bring your imagination and get ready to have fun!
