Improv 101 for youth/teens

Four Week Course | Age 10-15

Monday afternoons 4-5:30pm

June 26, July 3, July 10 and July 17

Have fun with original exercises that guide you in this experience of pure spontaneity, creativity, and collaboration. Learn to trust your impulses, to find ease in not knowing, and to collaborate with others in the creation of moment-to-moment theater pieces.

*No experience necessary.

Schedule: 4 sessions (once a week for 4 weeks)

Class Length: 1.5 hours 

Class Size: maximum 12 (Minimum 4 students registered to run the class)

Tuition: $90

Instructor: Cheryl King. Cheryl King’s improvisation classes are well-known to students across the US – from NYC to LA. She assisted Gary Austin (founder of the Groundlings, LA) in his workshops for most of the early 2000’s and has experience in both long and short-form improv. Her teaching style reflects her acting and playwriting experience.
